Erica Docimo,L.Ac., is a California Licensed Acupuncturist. After graduating with honors and earning a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from The Emperor’s College, she attended The Academy of Orthopedic Acupuncture (AOA). She was one of the first physicians to become certified through the AOA in Pain Reflex Release Technique and Manual Nerve Blocking, for pain and injury management. Erica is also a proud member of the American Association of Integrative Medicine (AAIM), working to educate the public and legislation on the profound benefits offered by alternative medicines.

Beyond her career as an acupuncturist, Erica is also a mother. It was through regular Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs that she was able to conceive and maintain a wonderfully healthy, and comfortable pregnancy. Her personal experience inspired an ongoing interest in fertility and female health, which has only grown during her life as a mother. She has found Chinese Herbs to be invaluable in the treatment of children, both clinically and at home, and feels that children’s bodies are especially receptive to this gentile medicine.

Erica’s dedication to unlocking the body’s healing potential has fueled her continual pursuit of education and research of various therapies including Qi Gong, Homeopathics, Musculoskeletal Release, and Nutrition. She is extensively educated in both Eastern and Western Nutrition, and provides her patients with nutritional counseling in addition to Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. She firmly believes:
